This notice explains how Butenko Consultancy handles information sent through this website and how you can contact the business about your personal information.

Who is responsible?
Butenko Consultancy is the controller for personal information handled through this website. You can use the email address, telephone number or postal address on this page for privacy questions or requests.
Information collected
The contact form asks for:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your organisation, if you choose to provide it; and
- what you would like to explore.
Formspark also processes technical request information used to deliver and protect the form service, including the submitter’s IP address and approximate location derived from that address.
Why this information is used
Your information is used to understand and respond to your enquiry, communicate with you about it, and protect the form from misuse.
Where your enquiry asks Butenko Consultancy to take steps before a possible client relationship, the proposed lawful basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. For other genuine enquiries and proportionate protection against misuse, the proposed basis is the legitimate interests described in Article 6(1)(f). These interests are responding to enquiries and maintaining a secure, usable contact route.
Formspark
The form is delivered by Formspark, which acts as a processor for contact-form submissions. Formspark states that submission content is stored in Ireland and Germany. Formspark uses service providers to operate its service, so this statement does not mean that every part of its processing is necessarily confined to the EEA.
The launch form uses a honeypot field. It does not use CAPTCHA, a third-party spam challenge, analytics, or an embedded tracking service.
You can read Formspark’s privacy policy, data processing agreement and subprocessor information.
How long information is kept
Ordinary unsuccessful or general website enquiries under Butenko Consultancy’s control are deleted after no more than 12 months. If an enquiry becomes a client relationship, relevant records may move into the business’s separate client and administrative process.
Formspark retains submission content until its customer deletes it. Formspark states that deleted submissions remain recoverable for 30 days, and that a submitter’s IP address and approximate IP-derived location are retained for 12 months. Deleting a submission does not therefore mean that all technical metadata disappears immediately.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict processing of your personal information, to object to processing, and to receive data in a portable form. Contact contact@butenkoconsultancy.com to make a request.
You may also make a complaint to the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
